Fat Wallet Girl
Hi all,
I am in my mid-twenties, recently married, work in banking and have a very good idea of what I plan to set up from a saving, investing, and retirement planning standpoint. My husband and I are really busy and make good income and plan to set up our online savings (for down payment), IRA's, and personal brokerage accounts in one place and I'm trying to find the least expensive, highest-yielding (from the money market savings) way to do all of this in one place. We will have a savings, 2 IRAs, and a taxable account, all invested in low cost funds (no individual stock or ETF trading at this point). E-Trade seems like a good place to do this but I'm afraid of hidden costs once we get everything set up. Any advice? I've read the fine print but don't want to miss anything...or is there a better place to do this?
