Seeking Help with Area Codes!

Hi,
I need to find the city/state name and some more information of existing phone numbers which I have as a database of phone numbers in excel spreadsheet. Can someone help me finding out the city and state? Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Yes! Your suggestion is very good but some times search engine provides large information from which we can't identify right information? Here is a site called www.areacodelookup.org that provides details of any existing phone numbers. we can use it anytime to find such information in the United States and Canada.

That site is a good alternative. I have been pretty successful by picking out one of the top selections offered by my method. Usually the City Search result is up there and the city and state pops up.

I've used that site numerous times to look up various area codes quite successfully.

thre are sites who publish area codes where you can print and make them ur reference,..

use yahoo or google and type the key words that you are looking.. you can find it out..

Google is your friend. Try to use the area code of the numbers for you to determine the city and state.

I've encounterd the same problem before and some reasons for it was told to me.Some of the call comes outside the country and prefer to display unknown area codes.

Search engines is the best choice for searching, you can try any of the 3 popular and famous search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN.
