creditcardcube
I was wanting to start a discussion about borrowing money for college. What are the best borrowers and what kind of rates and conditions do they have? Is there any strategies to paying the borrowed money off quicker? Any insight would be helpful.

I'm afraid there are really no "tricks" that deserve a constant thread.
The best loans are typically the government-backed Stafford and Perkins loans.
Borrow as little as possible.
Consolidate wisely.
Get a really well paying job after college, so you can pay them off.
To pay them off faster, just make greater payments toward the principle. Most government-backed loans have no penalty for early payment.

It will depend upon your school. Every school ah different charges, it differs a lot! You can inquire also the school regarding that matter ;)

I agre that Stafford loans are the way to go. You don't pay on the subsidized until 6 months after graduation and the rates are very good (around 6%). Additionally you should feel out the FAFSA as soon as possible to see if you qualify for a Pell Grant (free money the government pays out to lower income students).
