Dependent Care FSA Problem: Help!

My wife and I are both working and we have two young kids and have a lot of child care expenses. Last year, not knowing the rule, we each opened a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account for about $5000. Now we realize that each FAMILY is qualified for $5000 in total. The problem now is how to report this error in our tax return. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Complete form 2441, Child and Dependent Care Expenses.
Be sure to complete Part III.
