What broker has best Mutual Fund commissions and a reasonable availability of funds? I checked few popular one and seems like buying Mutual Fund is quite expensive. For example one can buy any number of stocks with $7 commission but for Mutual Fund the least seems to be $17 (I am talking about no-load funds).
TDAmeritrade - $50
eTrade - $20
ScotTrade - $17
CharlesSchwab - $50
Fidelity - $75
TDAmeritrade charges $10 (not the least but reasonable) for stocks but $50 (ouch) for Mutual Funds. Why? Where do you guys buy Mutual Funds from?
I was looking for DODGX and noticed that it is a No Load fund but everywhere it had a commission i.e. it was not No Load No Transaction Fee fund.
