i have heard people talking about tranafering debt to 0% interest cards? how do i find these? what should the strategy to get this paid off.

%0 APR CC ? Are you talking about the promotional APR rates for 6 months or a year.. They usually mail them to you....Be careful on those cards ..most of them come with 3-3.5% upfront transfer fee..
If they have a max $50-$60 transfer fee than it is not bad..

There are some people out there that do that but in my opinion, it is a waste of time. Sure 0% interest is great but that's usually only for a short amount of time say 6-12 months. Also, you most likely will have to pay transfer fees which only put you in the red more. The best thing to do is if you are having trouble with paying it off, just try and pay a little bit more than the min. payment and it will help out a lot.

You will be charged a 3% transaction fee on most balance transfers at the moment, but still a good deal on a 12 month introductory offer. You can find many of these credit card offers online

These credit cards offer a 0% APR on balance transfers, usually from 6 to 12 months and they will charge you 3% fee on Balance Transfers. You can find many 0% APR credit cards offers online.

That's one way to do it, but why not try to get your credit card company to offer you 0% first. Your credit score will benefit from having a long credit history with individual accounts, so try to find one of those offers and then call your credit card company and ask them if they'll match it.

If you can pay it off the in time frame that they are offering the 0% rate I would do it even with a balance fee of 3%.

You usually need to have a decent credit score to get these. My husband and I used balanced transfers to pay off 20k worth of debt several years ago.
