Transfer 529

I presently have a 529 plan that I would like to move to another plan. Does anyone know the process - is it similar to a 401(k)?

Yes, very similar. You want to make a direct transfer, rather than accepting a check (expecially if there are state tax benefits to contributions). Contact both institutions and initiate the paperwork as they direct...
