Hello Gurus, Need advice. A yr ago i joined a new employer. My 401K worth $58K is lying in Vangaurd and i need to move it somewhere. I have 2 options: 1- My new employers 401K with principal 2-something that everyone has been recommending which is rollover IRA (someone just recommended pour-over IRA. Please let me know what your recommendations are, what would an ideal portfolio would look like. I am looking to be moderate and agressive ..thanks in advance.

Congratulations on your new employment.
Yes, do a roll over to an IRA.
Doing this with an on line broker such as TDAmeritrade, will give you many more choices for investment.
And another big advantge may be for your beneficiaries. Beneficiaries have many more options for taking distributions from an IRA vs a 401k plan.

I would roll it over into a Roth IRA.
