reasons to do wireless networking at house or office

Yes, wireless is great! I'm sitting on my couch watching TV, while wirelessly surfing the internet.

As Dingobiscuit hinted, you HAVE to secure it. People generally skip that step. Without security, anyone can tap into your wireless, download kiddie porn, and when the feds come, they come for the guy associated with that IP -- YOU! I think I have like a 24 digit password.

My wireless printer is a little less dependable, but that might be the model.

But yes, if I could talk my DH into tossing his desktop in favor of a laptop, our computer room would look MUCH less like an electric octopus died behind the tables.

well thanks for the tips guys.. now i am sure that i will setup my wireless router and gadgets..just wondering if i cant connected it to my other house about 1km away...hehe..i dont want to pay 2 internet service provider..lol

Its better future is wireless . It is easier to do it now rather than the expensive amount it will cost 10 years later to restructure your home .

If you have more than one computer and not located in same room than wireless connection is more helpful. And when you have laptop than wireless connection more helpful because you can bring your laptop anywhere inside the house or even outside.
