Money Manager Performance

Can anyone share their experiences on how they think their Money Managers (e.g. Fidelity Advisory services, Ken Fisher, etc) are performing in this market? Trying to determine if I should be working with one of them going forward as opposed to investing by myself.

I would prefer to go for WiserAdvisor.

I would base your decision on the individual manager versus the specific brokerage even though some tend to follow company trends. It would not hurt to consult a few managers from various backgounds since it is free to do so. Take some statement history with you so each manager can suggest how they would have done things differently. I think it would be out of the ordinary for any advisor to show gains for all of their clients in this market so watch out for advisors that put down past performance and promise the world if you go with them. You should be looking for the manager with solid suggestions and realistic expectations. Most importantly it should be somone you feel comfortable with, which only you will know. Of course I think MoneyManager.com is the best way to setup new manager consultations.
