Difference between Coverdell & 529

Hi,

Just recently heard of something called Coverdell. From what little I've heard about, I hear that funds can be used for a secondary education, such as private schools.

What's the advantages & disadvantages between a Coverdell & a 529 plan? Also, are there different types of Coverdell & 529 plans out there? If so, what's the differences may I see?
