:confused:I'm single and was wondering which is better? 1.going to a lawyer and have a will made out or 2.print out a will form online and fill it out?

I think it depends on how complicated your situation is. If your estate is pretty basic -- maybe a home, and some investments -- online will probably suffice. (Not sure how detailed the one is you're looking at, but Quicken's will-making software is excellent.) If you have a more complicated estate, go with a lawyer.

If you opt for online and you're concerned about doing it right or have any questions, you could always have a lawyer look over your final will, which might be cheaper than having one craft it from scratch.

I am single and my estate is pretty basic (house and some investments). I do not have Quicken. Can anyone tell me a good web site to down load a blank will form?

You can download the Quicken WillMaker software at www.nolo.com (http://www.nolo.com). I've also heard good things about www.legalzoom.com (http://www.legalzoom.com).
