Email ebay about the situation. They have a section that deals with this sort of thing. If the seller committed fraud, you will have a strong case. But if he just entered a vague description and you bid without checking out the item with an email to the seller for further explanition, you may be out of luck.
99% of the sellers/buyers on ebay are good folks. I've never had a problem. But don't hesitate to email the seller with questions of you are uncertain about something.
Also, if you haven't contacted the seller after you received the item, email him and say you want your money back and state your reason. Many sellers want you to be satisfied and will comply so that you don't leave the dreaded "negative feedback."
You can always leave negative feedback if nothing else works.
