I have a question in regards to dependent care expenses.

My wife is my dependent. She is not disabled or anything
She does goes to school and since she does not work i support her education..

Does her educational expenses qualify for a dependent care credit?

Sorry. You can't deduct education expenses as a dependent care expense. But there are a number of education tax breaks that you might qualify for, such as the Hope or Lifetime Learning credits. You can also deduct interest on student loans. For more information, see IRS Publication 970 Tax Benefits for Higher Education (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p970.pdf).
