View Full Version : Double-dip Your Rewards
Dingobiscuit
If you have a rewards-type credit card (Amazon, GM, etc.), you can also join www.mypoints.com. If you shop through their partner stores (big names like Overstock, Macys, Angus Steak, Hallmark, and many more), you get points as well, that can be used toward gift cards at dozens and dozens of stores.
So, you wind up gaining double rewards (or more), depending on where you shop.
Not too shabby!
Remember to pay off your credit card balances on time and don't spend more than you can afford!

Or check evreward.com to make sure you're going through the best reward site. Put in the name of the company you're buying from and evreward will give you a list of the rewards programs and how much cashback they give for a given company.

Thanks for the tips. I just got a rewards credit card the other day and will be checking out these sites to get an even bigger payback.

You might also consider PriorityClub.com. You can combine your shopping points with your travel points and use them for gift cards or free hotel nights.

I have the MyPoints credit card, which I use to pay for the online purchases through MyPoints and earn more points. We put everything we can on rewards cards instead of paying cash, so I usually earn a $50 gift card every other month with them. So far, I have used the points for Home Depot gift cards and have redone my 1/2 bath, laundry room closet, and a large portion of our new landscaping for free. Yes, we do pay it off every month.

Overstock.com, Buy.com and Amazon.com all have (or had) offers for their credit cards where you get $30 off your first purchase when you open up an account. The credit cards are all Chase-backed with decent rates. You can use those with your MyPoints (or another reward company) to get some free merchandice and some reward points. Sometimes the three companies offer free shipping for purchases over $25, so you can get something decent for the entire $30 offer. A decent way to expand your DVD or CD collection.
Just make sure your credit rating can handle 3 hards pulls in a short period of time :) .
Websites like fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net has users who find the best deals which you can combine with all the above offers to maximize your deal-findings.

My citicard sucks, it's maxed out and I still don't get any rewards.
