My question is to anyone who knows and can give me some advice. I just came back from Vietnam this past Sunday (06/11/06) and planning to go back eventually.
While I was thier I notice a couple of banks and saw one that was based out of New York called HBSC. Not sure if anyone is familiar with them. My question or rather problem is that I really can't carry alot of money with me when i travel to Vietnam since they sometime will stop you at the airport for random check (making a quick buck). This was my first time thier and I took over $10,000 with me which was kind of excite and scary at the same time.
So has anyone use an U.S. bank and travel abroad and use the same bank thier? I'm think about opening an account with HBSC but wanted to know if thier is any kind of problem with withdraw in Vietnam or other country that has HBSC. I figure it would be much easier to open an account here (US) and use the same bank abroad to take out large amount of money instead of carrying with you when you fly.
