Question about student loan repayment

I am graduating from my undergraduate college this June 2007, and I understand the term of repayment for my student loans. My question is: I have applied to law school at Rutgers and I will be paying the instate tuition, no will I be able to defer all students loans from my undergraduate college (private college in NY), until I finish law school in three years?
