Broker Fees

I used to pay full commission for my trades. I want to go with a discount stock broker for some money I have to invest only one time. Does anybody know the going rate per hundred shares to buy through a discount broker? I need a close estimate to compare with before I start looking. Thanks.

TD Ameritrade is $9.99 for stock and ETF trades whether it is 100 shares, or 100,000.

There are others out there. There is a similar thread in this forum in which people discuss Scottrade, E*trade, TD Ameritrade, and so forth. You might want to seek that out before you choose.
