View Full Version : Reward sites~One that really works: Cash Duck

BudgetingMom
I have tried some of the online reward sites out there: like MyPoints and Milesource. But the payout is so small and takes so long that I've always lost interest before ever actually receiving any kind of gift.

But then I signed up at CashDuck, which is a new site that basically offers many of the same offers you see on other sites like QuickRewards, Creationsrewards, Sunshine Rewards, etc.
The only difference is that I really racked up pretty good reward dollars in a much shorter time than any of these other boards.

After about an hour of signing up for "free" offers (ones that don't require any kind of purchase or free trial or credit card number) I had already earned over $18. That's about 2 years worth of My Points! And with these other reward sites, you're always tied to requesting gift cards, not cash. This Cash Duck site lets you cash out once a month to a Paypal account, with no minimum cash-out amount.

So far I'm really impressed with this. I can't wait to cash out for this month.

If you're trying to boost your family budget in a lot of small ways, these online reward sites like this one can really help out.

I've never been a fan of the rewards sites. It's too easy to get sucked into something you really don't want to pay for. And when that one offer comes that does cost money, it usually results in undoing any small amount that you do make.

I agree that it can be a hassle to buy things through reward sites.

But there are also free surveys and offers that you get paid for only entering your email or zip code. Usually these pay only 50-cents or $1 ~ but do a few every day and it'll add up to a nice bit of extra money.

One piece of advice, though. Before you register for any of the reward sites, get a free "junk" email address (from gmail or hotmail, etc) that you only use for these offers. (You may want to even tie the name of the email to which reward site you're doing. Example: for CashDuck, make up a name like 'Duckgeorgia@xxxx.com". That way you don't forget!)

Because you will get a LOT of spam and you don't want all that to end up in your real email box.

These companies pay you because they turn around and spam you to death. As long as its a junk box you don't really "use" for anything else, who cares if you get 6,000 emails a day. LOL.

Really, though, without sending in a penny or joining any clubs, etc, I've already made over $40 in just 3 days. They pay out to Paypal once a month and it just ends up being a nice little fund I keep for vacation money.

Hope this helps.
