Question U.S. saving bonds

I'm thinking on buying U.S. treasury mutal funds instead of U.S. savings bonds. Anyone know any good ones? Should I wait till the interest rates go up before purchasing? Or should I stick to savings bonds?

Savings Bonds alerts

If you're intested in US Savings Bonds, a good site with lots of information is Savings-Bonds-Alert.com. One of the features is a free email alert service that lets you know automatically when Savings Bond news occurs, including interest rate announcements.
