Can I write off my Attorney fees for a bankruptcy that was discharged on my taxes?

Krg15,

Is this your question? - Are attorney fees for bankruptcy a deductable expense for tax purposes?

Generally we can deduct attorney's fees for purposes of collecting or generating taxable income. This deduction is a Schedule A Miscellaneous Deduction subject to 2% of your AGI.

Tax advice is a deductable expense. So if your attorney gave you tax advice and has that fee broken out on his bill, you can deduct that as a Miscellaneous Deduction on Schedule A.
