How do I find past and present foreclosures............................

How do I find past and present foreclosures that are surrounding the house I want to buy?
I am looking to find foreclosures that have been taken off the MLS or that have sold as REOs in the surrounding neighborhood of the house I am looking to buy?

You should be able to get foreclosure lists from the main banks and there are various companies online that produce foreclosure lists. I would guess that local real estate agents could give you a good idea about any local lists in your area too
