Buying a home. I need some advice?

Ok I am looking to purchase a home around $200,000 w/land. I have 412/000 already in the bank saved up for this but the only problem is my credit and score. Everything is up to date/current ( bills that were past due) it just took some time but my credit score is still in the low 500s. Do I stand a chance right now? Help! I need some advice. What do I need to do get more money? Thank you for taking time and answering my question.

Don't need more money

You don't need more money. Go to Detroit and buy a villa for 800$ or to Florida. At the moment houses are cheaper than dogs.

Is there anything you can do to repair your credit rating? I've seen various online guides that seem to give you tips on credit repair. I think you basically need to buy things on credit and keep paying for it. Might be better to wait a few months while doing this?

If you want to qualify for the lowest interest rate and borrow the amount of money you need to clean your credit record with good scores is really a must. Find out what your credit status is before starting the new home search. Work on paying off some debt, catching up on any delinquent accounts, and removing any inaccuracies before officially applying for a new loan.
